5 Acres in Caldwell, ID

At the end of the road, the journey begins.

From the pines of Paradise, CA to the dirt roads of Caldwell, Idaho. We’re building a self-reliant farmstead, raising animals with care, and chasing dust on the trails.

Our Story

From City Pavement to Idaho Dirt

Both of us grew up surrounded by the towering pines of Paradise, California. After spending time in the suburban turn-key lifestyle of Meridian, ID, we realized we wanted something deeper: a real connection to our food and a more self-reliant lifestyle.

We traded city limits for 5 acres at the end of Country View Lane—a quiet dirt road in Caldwell framed by tall poplar trees. Here, we are building Dusty Trails Farm step-by-step.

Why "Dusty Trails"?

Our name comes from two places close to our heart: the dusty dirt road that leads home to our white ranch house with its blue roof, and our passion for loading up the SXS to ride through Idaho’s desert trails, mountain paths, and sand dunes.
